We could not have built Fyxer without OpenAI. Not simply because of their models. It brings to mind a long-standing observation from AI research known as Moravec’s paradox; the things humans do almost instinctively can be among the hardest things to teach a machine. Writing a reply means: 1. Understanding the relationship 2. The context 3. What has already been agreed 4. What remains unsaid 5. What that particular person would naturally say next Solving that has brought together OpenAI’s models and expertise with 500,000 hours of executive-assistant workflows, dozens of specialised models, and constant evaluation and feedback from Fyxer’s engineers and customers. Today, 53% of Fyxer’s draft replies are accepted without a single edit. That number belongs to the brilliant people across OpenAI and Fyxer who have worked together to turn frontier intelligence into something hundreds of thousands of people can trust with their working lives. US office workers could be leaving up to $2.6 trillion in productivity on the table, every year. Why? AI isn’t delivering on its promise. AI adoption is now almost universal, with 88% of office workers saying they use AI in some form. 69% say it’s made them more productive. But 42% say it’s also increased their workload.
