Earlier this week, our fabulous partners at JLL UK took on an incredible fundraising challenge for Age UK.   Over 100 colleagues, joined by our CEO Paul Farmer, abseiled 14 stories down their brand-new flagship office at 1 Broadgate in London. This summer, our staff and volunteers went above and beyond to support older people through heatwaves. We're so proud of them and the work they do.   This week, Downing Street opened its doors for an event to thank people across the Third Sector for supporting vulnerable people during an extreme summer. Our CEO Paul Farmer took colleagues from across the Age UK Network to tell the Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, about the impact the weather has had on older people, and the work our fantastic teams have done to support them through it.   Thank you to everyone who helps us support older people when they need us most 💜

Age UK has been working with Deep Truth Project to update our AI Scams information and advice. Deep Truth has assisted Age UK in updating our existing AI scams website content, delivering a CPD session for Scams Officers in the Scams Prevention and Support Programme and producing a new lesson pack being developed for Scams Officers to deliver to their clients in local communities.
