The globe of Poplight is polycarbonate (not glass).

The piece that sticks on your wall is ABS or high end consumer plastic.
Poplight is designed for interior use only. We recommend cleaning your wall with isopropyl alcohol before installing Poplight if you want to ensure the most secure installation.
Here are the types of surfaces Poplight does great on!
- Painted walls (brick, cement, drywall, or plaster!)
- Finished wood
- Tile (Poplight does great in a bathroom! 🛀 Although Poplight is not waterproof, she can get a little steamy.🥵)

Love the marigold color! I do wish the lights were a bit brighter, had the capability to go warm or cool tones, and had a remote. That being said, they are still great for my toddler’s playroom & evening when it’s time to wind down!

This light makes my bathroom feel nice and cozy! It's a bright but softer light, and it was super easy to install. The battery life is really good too! Definitely getting another for my living room!

I got two red pop lights when we transitioned our kids to bunk beds because I wanted an easy light for bedtime stories, and they’ve been perfect. They took literally 30 seconds to put up, don’t require any wiring, and are rechargeable without having to remove the whole light from the wall. I especially love that they dim, so we can keep them at a cozy level for bedtime. Plus, they’re so cute and come in tons of colors - perfect for a whimsical kids’ room!

The pop lights were so easy to install! Although they came with strips, I personally preferred to drill them into my wall (and I’m so grateful I still had the option to!). They’re definitely worth the price for the look, quality, app convenience, and ease of recharging. I have 2 in my home library and it’s the PERFECT pop of color. The light is soft and gentle so I’m not dealing with extra headaches when sitting beneath them and it creates such a cozy vibe when the sun goes down. 1000000/10 recommend!

Believe the hype, with a couple of caveats.
Poplights really are *that* girl. The mushroom color is so chic and the two I ordered look absolutely amazing on the sides of my bay windows. That said, the command strips are absolutely not sufficient to handle a) textured walls or b) repeated removal of the lights themselves (I know this isn't intended for installation, but mine were a little wonky and I was trying to get them as straight as possible). I d up having to buy extra velcro command strips (much stronger than adhesive alone) and am now confident they won't come down again. My other small critique is that the lights are a cooler tone than I'd prefer. Warmer/deeper colors would make a great addition to the Poplight portfolio, and I'd be a buyer. In any case, this is by far the easiest-to-install, most hassle-free light fixture on the market right now. Absolutely worth your money.
