The Shandong International Friendship Cities Conference for Cooperation and Development (SDIFCC) will be held from Oct 15 to 20, with the theme of "Deepening Friendship Cities Cooperation and Sharing Development Opportunities ".

A total of 708 people in 93 delegations -- 49 at the provincial level and 44 at the municipal level -- from 35 countries in five continents will be present at the event, and diplomatic envoys, counselors and the consuls general of Japan, the Republic of Korea and Thailand in Shandong will also attend.
