Contest: Halloween 2000
Welcome To The First NeHe Productions OpenGL Challenge!
The point of this contest was to create an OpenGL Halloween demo using basecode from this web site. The demo had to run in Windows, and full source code had to be included. The first place winner took home $50 for his impressive work recreating a spooky graveyard. Many of the entries in this contest were made by new GL programmers. All the entries are extemely well done!
Keep in mind that almost all of these demos include full source code. If you see a cool effect you can check out the source code to see how it's done!
* Check out the Glow Inc. website for super cool glow in the dark paint. They also have some project information for Halloween decorating and haunting including two great articles on creating a dot room and a glow room. Visit http://www.hobbyglow.com/haunted_houses.htm for more information!
