Certain Google Meet hardware settings in the Admin console only apply to device models running ChromeOS, and not to others, such as Poly Studio X devices.
These settings include the following:
- Release channel
- Timed reboot
- Display power saving
- Time zone
- Screen saver
- Hey Google voice control
- Built-in interoperability
- Peripheral alerts
- Error reporting
- Device state reporting
- Certificate Authority
- Wi-Fi configuration
- Ethernet configuration
For non-ChromeOS devices, many of the same settings and features listed above are available and configurable, but not through the Google Admin console. For device-specific instructions and the most up-to-date information on whether a setting exists and how to access it, please refer to the device manufacturer’s documentation.
