honestly, I don't get the the worse ratings. sure, it has less choices compared to the main game,
but its a pretty good spinoff / alt perspective to top off the series.

although if the team ever decides continue the series. I'd never be against it.

So .. MiSide.
As soon as I saw it online I had a weird feeling in my gut.
Now that I gave it a playthrough I unfortunately came to realise that I was right all along.

This game is essentially an amalgamation of recent trends in (horror)gaming, mixed together to act as the perfect bait for shallow youtubers.

Don't get me wrong, the production quality is high and a lot of effort was clearly put in.
It just feels like the main goal was franchising,
which is understandable from a business standpoint
But this on-the-nose pandering just makes it unenjoyable for me.



Maybe it will develop into an interesting tamagotchi game in the future with their planned 'peaceful mode', who knows.
