Thanks! I see in the log: Error converting DSO data! Cannot open file ".\nebulae\default\catalog.pack" This is strange, but it may depend by user' permissions. Do you see the same error when catalog.pack is created by hands?
No need create catalog.pack file by hands - it should be created by Stellarium. Please share the log.txt file from Stellarium (after attempt of conversion of course)
What exactly you doing - step-by-step?
An equinox is the instant of time when the plane of Earth's equator passes through the geometric center of the Sun's disk (or two places on the celestial sphere at which the ecliptic intersects the celestial equator if we say about coordinates).
See https://stellarium.org/doc/0.20/classCustomObjectMgr.html or https://stellarium.org/doc/0.20/classMarkerMgr.html
Thanks! The typo is fixed
Ah! Thank you very much for explanation!
I see artwork for constellation Lyra and this is definitely not lyra :) P.S. In the string "The desert natural gardin and the goats" what is "natural gardin"?
Khalid, could you re-check the name of constellatio Lyra - probably translatable name has error.
Wrong path to linked library
What about number of satellites and asteroids/comets?
Is it a joke? See: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/blob/master/src/core/modules/SpecialMarkersMgr.hpp#L146 Why you see revision b855bc0f8a1440e4eefa6f90a84de1650867b9a4 ?

You disabled sporadic meteors, but not meteor showers (Hint: see plugins tab)
Please attach log.txt (Latest run log)

You may use magnitude filter to obtain list of DSO, which available for your telescope, but you cannot filter DSO by textures.
ASCOM 6.5?
see https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium-dynamic-plugin
You not need to pay a fee in your case ;) See https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/wiki/FAQ#Can_I_use_Stellarium_screenshots_in_my_bookwebsitecalendar_etc
You can see morphological classification of the object in the brackets. See the morphological description at the bottom of the information block.
I was thrown off by the Telescope Control configuration window which still showed CNTL-1 to slew, CNTL-3 to Synch, and CNTL-5 to cancel. Probably you was seen settings from removed StellariumScope
It's incredible! Why do you use Ctrl+3? I don't understand why opening the help window (or reading the User Guide) and getting the info is a super difficult task for windows users.

I think I can a little improve of this feature
I see halo on screenshot, but not marker ;)
See feature request also: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/issues/1263
This is possible only through editing the source code of planetarium at the moment
The instructions was written by me. What exactly you doing? Without details we cannot help
Just follow BUILDING.md instructions to build Stellarium from source code...
Do you use Debian Stretch? stretch-backports have Stellarium 0.18.3 at the moment: https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=stretch-backports&searchon=names&keywords=stellarium Debianization of Stellarium looks like: a) Add "deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian stretch-backports main contrib non-free" into file /etc/apt/sources.list b) Add "deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free" into file /etc/apt/sources.list c) sudo apt-get update d) sudo apt-get -t stretch-backports build-dep...
Please add core.wait(0.1); after core.output(map["elong"]);
Why you need ecliptic longitude?
map=core.getSelectedObjectInfo(); core.output(map["dec"]);
The points list is used to create a list of object for observing - this is TODO list. He is NOT related to sync feature.
I never used QtCreator for building an installer, but some hints are necessary here: a) You need define CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX variable (see properties of projects within QtCreator) b) Installer for Stellarium building through target stellarium-installer (see after_test part as example: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/blob/master/.appveyor.yml)
I never used QtCreator for building an installer, but some hints are necessary here: a) You need define CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX variable (see properties of projects within QtCreator) b) Installer for Stellarium building through target stellarium-installer (in 'make terms': make install && make stellarium-installer; see after_test part as example: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/blob/master/.appveyor.yml)
These commands are for building Stellarium in the command line interface. Please read this https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/blob/master/BUILDING.md#integrated-development-environment-ide for building Stellarium within QtCreator.
Please read chapter 9 of Stellarium User Guide
Please install drivers for graphics card or use ANGLE mode
Stellarium does not show twilight times at the moment
Please check version 0.20.3-5f954765e3: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium-data/releases/tag/weekly-snapshot
Please see this part of code: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L58-L82 We enable to use by default to High Performance Mode on machines with hybrid graphics. Apparently this mode used in modern world by games only.
Stellarium web?
Do you want to highlight the list of objects as final target?
Do you mean use JD for the date and time info?
Hint: please try disable "Topocentric coordinates" option in Configuration/Tools and check it again
Stop, I was partially wrong! This is correct: -3080 != 3080 BC Why you expect to see equinox to 22 March?
See FAQ: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/wiki/FAQ#There_is_no_year_0_or_BC_dates_are_a_year_out
Because desktop edition is using astronomical numbering of years and -3080 != 3080 BC
See screenshot
Please read the chapter 8 of Stellarium User Guide

In this case way you just don't said about requirement/expected one definitely type of the mount in first message? Just for understanding - GEM is not the only one equatorial type of mount.
Yes, this is a limitation of any GEM (German equatorial mount) device, but for example open fork or horseshoe mounts do not have these limitations. So, you want to see GEM simulation.
Probably you expect to see simulate an one definitely type of equatorial mount - german.
You moving by meridian in one side from celestial pole - why you expect rotation of CCD?
On your first screenshots I see that you using azimuth mount. On second screenshot you share settings for one photolens, but didn't see that you using this photolens on first screenshots.

I've checked behaviour of plugin right now - it works correct. Why you share cropped screenshots?
On the screenshots I see you definitely using altazimuth mount
You can connect to PC from tablet through wireless connection and without Internet, but you need configure routing on your router or PC/wifi-adapter
Just interpolated positions: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/tree/master/plugins/TelescopeControl/src/common P.S. LX200 and NexStar are different protocols ;)
Telescope Control plugin can send RA/Dec into mount only, he can't receive position of telescope. Of course the plugin may be enhanced to support send/receive coordinates, but... both Stellarium developers has no time for this plugin at the moment.
No, this is related to wrong index for lenses, see https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium/issues/1078 You need just add and delete new one lense (or replace your ocular.ini file by attachment)

How you added eyepieces into plugin?
Please share your oculars.ini file and log.txt from Stellarium after crash
Fixed. Thanks for report!
I'm release manager for desktop edition of Stellarium and I publish .asc files to validate release files. P.S. My key should be available on keyring servers.

I am not perfectly understanding what you mean by "store your scripts in github repository" You may create an own repository in github for your collection of scripts (I guess you may improve existing scripts or create a new one). Do you mean that I should fork and make pull requests to the Stellarium github? No Or that I should maintain my script in my own github and send you the link? See cards of scripts: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium.github.io/tree/master/_scripts Thanks for including...

Thanks for script, I've added it into this page: http://stellarium.org/scripts.html I think you may store your scripts in github repository and propose us patches for include your scripts into list of community scripts.
Please edit startup.ssc script to define startup behaviour as you want to get.
Please check AstroCalc/Graphs tool
Oops... I'm an idiot and give to you an idiotic suggestion :( Of course it's for info text, not for labels. Sorry.
I've updated upper limit for font size in our master branch
By formal rules the OP may change color of all labels (F2 -> Tools -> Overwrite text color; define color through option color/info_text_color in config.ini)
Are you read Stellarium User Guide already?

Please do all those steps again and share log.txt from Stellarium after.
Just test it: https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium-data/releases/download/beta/Stellarium-0.20.1.17991-x86_64.AppImage
I can prepare AppImage package, but this package will not work with any HTTPS websites due problem in AppImage builder.
Brothers Guillaume and Fabien Chereau are author of Stellarium Mobile (based on desktop edition of Stellarium) and Stellarium Mobile Plus (it's new one application). Both of brothers are developers of desktop edition of Stellarium also.
Please check latest beta (v0.20.1.17986) - https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium-data/releases/tag/beta
I've added special case for Starlink satellites too, but I use simple model to calculate the brightness from RCS value
OK, I can give some comments now. You can edit qs.mag in your system already, because this is simple text file in modules/Satellites directory, but (!) in current beta I've hide this data file into resources data of plugin. I've made it by 2 reasons - probably no users, who edit this file (your question is first for this issue) and qs.mag was last edited by Mike in 2017 year. So, I tried reduce messys in users system. In additional to qs.mag I've added RCS data for 17000+ satellites from Mike McCants'...
