Engine_3D is a real-time 3D engine project grabbed from my old data. The entire 3D rendering is pure software: no OpenGL or the like, no 3D graphics card acceleration! And: Engine_3D is completely programmed in Ada. Some parts of the 3D engine, like the animated bump mapping, are still waiting to be ported to my newer 3D project, GLOBE_3D !... DOS and Linux versions available. Remarks for the DOS version: It is also a funny example of a game system almost fully in Ada, including sound driver, graphics driver, keyboard driver. The only things not in Ada there are the file system (MS-DOS), the 32-bit DOS extender (CWSDPMI) and the mouse driver. For running, I recommend DOSBox. FFTW_Ada is an Ada binding to the FFTW (fast Fourier transform) library written at MIT by Matteo Frigo and Steven G. Johnson. FFTW is written in C. FFTW_Ada allows calls to FFTW from an Ada program, thus allowing Ada code to compute fast Fourier and certain other related transforms. FFTW_Ada v2 works with FFTW v3 and requires Ada 2012.

This is a commandline utility that converts a WAV sound file containing morse code to English text. Pre-built binaries run on OSX, MsWindows, & GNU/linux. It is written in Ada, so can be rebuilt on any platform with an Ada compiler. The input wav file must be monaural, with a 16-bit signed integer encoding, and a sample rate of 8000 Hz. Either sox or audacity can easily transform to this format. The wav file is expected to be international morse code, preferrably clean and properly spaced. Tonal frequency or wpm-speed does not seem to matter. Now includes an inverse commandline app, txt2wav that creates a morse code WAV file from English text. The proper command to extract the archive and maintain the directory structure is "7z x filename".

OpenAvionics is a hardware/software projet to design low cost instrumentation (air/attitude, navigation, voice, engine) for light and ultra light aircrafts. The display part of the project may be used in aircraft simulation projects.

This is a soccer-themed, 3rd-person 3D sokoban puzzle game. It uses data in a format that is commonly found on the internet. It has undo <u> and restart <r> functions. Comes with many puzzle files, each typically having dozens of "levels". The next <n> and previous <p> keys move between levels. The <Lshft> and <Rshft> keys move between the different puzzle files. The <z> key creates a setpoint (reZero) so that subsequent restarts restore that setpoint. To move the "kicker" use the arrow keys. The objective is to kick all the red and blue balls into the goal nets. Notice that these strange soccer balls roll in two perpendicular directions only! Now with a user adjustable viewpoint! The mouse wheel can let you zoom in on the action! Works on Macs running OS-X and PCs running Windows or GNU/Linux.
