Singapore Airlines (SIA) and DHL Express have renewed their Crew and Maintenance agreement for five Boeing 777 freighters based at Singapore Changi Airport. Under the renewed agreement, SIA pilots will continue to operate the freighters, while SIA engineers will oversee their maintenance. The aircraft connect DHL’s South Asia Hub in Singapore with key destinations in the United States, supporting reliable, time-definite express and e-commerce shipments. Since 2022, this partnership has combined SIA’s operational expertise with DHL Express’ global logistics network, reinforcing Singapore’s role as a leading air freight hub and supporting the movement of time-sensitive cross-border trade. Each Boeing 777 freighter can carry up to 102 tonnes of cargo, supporting the movement of goods between Asia-Pacific and global markets. We look forward to continuing our partnership with DHL Express and strengthening Singapore’s role as a leading air logistics hub.

Singapore Airlines and Air China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a commercial joint venture partnership, deepening our collaboration to offer customers greater value and more travel options. Subject to regulatory approvals, we plan to expand our codeshare partnership, coordinate flight schedules, explore joint fare products, and pursue joint marketing and revenue-sharing initiatives. Building on our long-standing Star Alliance partnership, we also intend to deepen cooperation between Air China’s PhoenixMiles and SIA’s KrisFlyer frequent flyer programmes – giving members more ways to earn and redeem miles across both airlines.
