this is a very strongly worded rentry about a whole lot of discourse. we are, bodily, an adult. if you are a minor, thread our pages at your own responsibility (re disk horse paragraph below and your responsibility when browsing the web paragraph as well). if you just want our social medias, here you go:

we are (overall) aroacespec, agenderflux, we got a fuckload of problems, and the most key piece of information you need to know about us is that we are anti-censorship, anti-harassment, we think thought crimes are utter bullshit, and we do not believe fiction affects reality. (it can and HAS certainly impacted it, but people use this as an argument to justify censorship instead of actually engaging in any sort of critical discussion about it.) tl;dr, we are proship, or profic. additionally, we are anti-consang¹ and generally very anti-contact towards most paraphilias (additionally we are radqueer critical for similar reasons as to why we are anti-consang). if you disagree or think proship/profic automatically equals child molestation, please be an amicable human being and leave us be. we are the living embodiment of if you don't like it, don't look for it, read it or consume media of it! filter options on x/twitter/bluesky/aethy/ao3/you name it are all for this exact purpose!
your responsibility when browsing the web
if you are a minor, you are solely responsible for your own media consumption if you do not want a parent or guardian to supervise you. we aren't your babysitters, and we're not going to magically guess your triggers, nor are we responsible for them; nobody is. not the people running the websites, not the people posting, YOU are responsible for YOURSELF to filter out what might be triggering, upsetting, or otherwise harmful to you. we tag or content warn everything we post (when we do), which is in fact our responsibility as well as generally your responsibility to tag your shit as well, and we are accepting of polite asks or DMs to tag certain things. beyond that, you're at your own discretion. do not be surprised if you interact and we block! in short, fuck DNIs/BYFs/whatever the fuck, curate your own goddamn experience, you performative piece of rubbish! if you can't curate your own experience, you shouldn't fucking BE on the internet. do you seriously think a racist will care if you have racists DNI on your profile? come on, grow the fuck up and learn how to spot the racism instead of depending on people filtering themselves "for you". you can't control who interacts with you on the internet of all fucking places.

don't be an idiot — your personal disgust at something does not justify its censorship or harassment/witch-hunting of the people making, posting, talking about said thing, writing about it, or whatever the fuck else. it is allowed to exist. otherwise, everyone's personal disgust is justified to lead into violence, including someone's homophobia towards your queer friends, racism towards your black friends, islamophobia towards your muslim friends, and your existence for any goddamn reason they want to come up with or excuse it under, such as claiming YOU'RE a pedophile for X reason (ie doing drag, being queer, whatever you think of). you either censor everything or nothing; and to try and make exceptions for only what you like or write is to be a hypocrite and no better than the traditional right-wing politicians you claim to loathe so much. did we learn nothing from VISA and MasterCard? people being sad Doki Doki Literature Club got taken down while cheering for the "weird shit" getting removed? did you know they're withdrawing payment from people making the beloved "doomed yuri" games you fuckers like so much because it's queer content? your visceral disgust is not an excuse to harass people off the 'net, or deprive them of rightfully earned money based off their work, or even to suicide, be that towards what they draw, what they write, or what they're into. and if you think it is: get the fuck off the web, you performative, entitled dipshit. just be fucking normal and block people, okay? go unpack your conservative upbringing. therapy exists for that reason, but so does self-reflection, which costs you absolutely fucking nothing. i used to be one of you fuckers, and you CAN get better about this, just fucking look in a mirror, for fuck's sake.
a footnote on irl consang
¹ if you sincerely are pro-consanguinity (as in, IRL consang, not fictional consang), we'll probably block you. sexual abuse (or codependency, or other dysfunctions that result from incest), no matter how "consensual" it might seem, is wrong (wrong here meaning hurtful/harmful), and I am anti-contact for anyone who has feelings towards actual family members. do not test this, do not toe this line, I have never seen a truly "happy" consang relationship, and I have read piles upon piles of firsthand accounts that mostly just sound like abuse and codependency. incest and sexual or romantic relationships between family members are abuse, even if you dress it up in "consent" language.
that being said — i do get your argument! "consenting adults can do whatever they want" is something i believe in, but the closer you look with consang, the worse it is. the lines of consent are so often blurred in relationships where it's someone you don't want to say no to. power dynamics between family members vary wildly. there are just so many factors that make it a terrible idea; bottom line being, the community can be extremely dangerous, and it often is. i think communities built around making an identity out of a harmful attraction are always destined to be dangerous and/or abusive. however, i do still think discussion, media about it, etc. should still be allowed to exist ('it' in question, here, being IRL consang)! just because i disagree does not mean there are not valid discussions to be had about the identity in question. there doesn't really seem to be a way to tell apart people who believe in it IRL and people who depict it in fiction, so it's just a heads up that we're likely to block you if we don't see any pointers to tell apart whether you only write/draw/whatever about incest and whether you actually want to date your mom or something and keep chalking up people being anti consang to be as bad as people being transphobic.
and — if you're going to cut loose ends, remember to do it right.
