Creating an Offline HTML5 Publication

As we know that there are two version of PUBHTML5. They are online version and desktop version. Publishing Digital Publication online is convenient to share to networks, embed and email. Publishing HTML5 Magazine, brochure, catalog offline is for sharing with friends quickly, view the catalog without internet access and store easily.

Different from the online version, desktop version allows users to customize more settings such as functional settings, multimedia content and it has flexible options to choose. The output options include HTML, Zip, Exe, to FTP, email to, burn to CD and save as plug-in. Please note that publishing offline is only available for Pro and above user levels.

How to create an offline HTML5 Publication?

1. Run PUBHTML5, Log in and Import

Pro users can only import PDF file while Gold and above users can convert both PDF and Ms Office to HTML5 Digital Magazine. Anyway, users are able to customize page range to import, import link and table of content or not in the import interface.

2. Select a format to publish

Click "Publish to Local", there you will see 7 formats for you to publish the digital publication. For example, HTML and Zip are for convenient store and share; Exe and Burn to CD are easy to email and carry around; Email Zip file to your friend directly; or publish the digital magazine to your site through FTP server and save as plug-in is for embedding on website or blog quickly.
3. Define the output option settings

Let's take HTML format as an example. User can customize the path of output folder, file name and HTML title. After that, click "Convert" to continue.

4.View the Digital Publication Offline.
