Become a master of efficiency and learn from the Top 1%: Fantastic sheet by my friend Eric Partaker 🔥 After a shocking email leak. Elon Musk’s Six Rules of Productivity were shared online. Study this sheet meticulously and implement it right away. Then watch your team productivity rise to all-time highs: 1. Avoid large meetings ↳ Limit meetings to small groups unless absolutely necessary. 2. Ditch frequent meetings ↳ Most meetings only serve as distractions, limit them as best you can. 3. Leave if you’re not contributing ↳ It's not rude to drop out of an unproductive meeting. 4. Forget the chain of command ↳ Don’t wait for managers, communicate your thoughts to colleagues directly. 5. Be clear, not clever ↳ Use simple language and ensure your message is easily understood. 6. Use common sense ↳ Sometimes the rules don’t fit the situation, use your best judgement if so. E eu não posso subir porque a cobra vai me morder! Abel Cunha شارك ذلكAbel Cunha شارك ذلك🧠 Unity in Diversity: A Tale of Two Brains Saw the amazing Mark Gungor show for one more time. In our journey through life, we encounter a multitude of perspectives, strengths, and differences. It is these variations that make our world a vibrant tapestry of humanity. Human brains are typically said to possess some unique capabilities, and when they complement each other with their analytical prowess, logical reasoning, emotional intelligence, intuitive nature, seen as a guiding compass navigating challenges, excelling in problem-solving, strives for achievement, connects effortlessly, empathizes deeply, and fosters harmony. These descriptions are mere archetypes. Each individual's brain is a masterpiece of its own, a blend of characteristics that transcend traditional gender stereotypes. Our brains are shaped by diverse factors such as genetics, upbringing, environment, personal experiences, and so, no two brain functions exactly alike. Our brains, irrespective of gender, possess the potential to encompass an array of skills and perspectives. The strengths attributed to one partner in a relationship can be nurtured in another, transcending societal expectations and biases. “Where no oxen are, the manger is clean”....in the pursuit of progress and personal growth, we must embrace the challenges that come our way. Avoiding challenges may keep our lives seemingly clean and uncomplicated. But it is through embracing these challenges, we toughen ourselves, learn and grow. Unity in diversity is not about erasing our differences; it is about celebrating those, about acknowledging our unique strengths, ideas, and backgrounds. When we unite, embracing the diversity, we open the door to endless possibilities and collective growth. The tale of two brains is a testament to the intricate complexity of our minds, that we may cherish the understanding that it allows us to create a world where all brains, irrespective of gender or any other category, can thrive and contribute their exceptional talents, building connects and establishing great relations. A human being can live a life of fulfilment, only when the "feminine” and “masculine” energies, that we all have in us, are in balance within, rest are all created injuries and avoidable. This shall allow to build a future that honours the unique strengths within each of us and fosters an inclusive world that celebrates the marvellous diversity of the human experience towards creating a fulfilling life. Read and share, when you like and just move on. Have a blissful SUNDAY. -------------------- I am pursuing my purpose around "keep it simple, work on basics, and live life by compass, to make a difference”. After 15 years of building systems with C# and .NET, I realized one thing: Most developers ship features... but forget production readiness. Many applications fail in production not because of bad business logic, but because critical production features were ignored. Here are 10 production features every .NET developer should pay attention to: 1. 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐬 + 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐬 Applications should expose health endpoints and runtime metrics so monitoring systems can quickly detect issues. This helps teams respond before users experience failures. 2. 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 Modern systems require more than logs. Observability includes logs, metrics, and distributed tracing, which allow developers to understand system behavior across services. 3. 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 APIs must protect themselves from traffic spikes, abuse, and unexpected load. Rate limiting ensures system stability and fair usage while preventing service degradation. 4. 𝐀𝐏𝐈 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 Production APIs evolve over time. Versioning ensures backward compatibility and allows teams to introduce new features without breaking existing clients. 5.𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 Good logging is essential for diagnosing production issues. Structured logging, correlation IDs, and meaningful log levels help teams troubleshoot problems faster. 6. 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 Caching significantly improves performance and reduces database load. Proper caching strategies can dramatically increase scalability and reduce response times. 7. 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐒𝐒𝐄) Server-Sent Events enable real-time updates from server to client. They are ideal for dashboards, notifications, and live monitoring systems. 8. 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 Feature flags allow teams to deploy code safely without immediately exposing new functionality. This enables gradual rollouts, A/B testing, and quick rollbacks when needed. 9. 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 A centralized exception handling approach keeps code clean and ensures consistent error responses while improving system reliability. 10. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 External services fail sometimes. Resilience strategies like retries, circuit breakers, and fallback mechanisms help applications handle failures gracefully. 💡 Final Thought Production-ready software is not just about implementing features. It’s about building systems that are stable, observable, scalable, and resilient under real-world conditions. After 15 years in .NET, the biggest lesson is simple: Good developers write code. Great developers design systems that survive production. 💾 Save this for later & repost if this helped 👤 Follow Kanaiya Katarmal + turn on notifications.

No trabalho. Num relacionamento. Numa amizade. E se o problema for o lugar onde estás a investir a tua energia?

In modern .NET / EF Core, it is also about asking: “Do I really need to load these entities into memory?” This means: ❌ load data ❌ track entities ❌ loop in memory ❌ then update Now with ExecuteUpdate and ExecuteDelete: ✅ no entity loading ✅ no change tracking ✅ single SQL command ✅ better for bulk update/delete scenarios Another useful optimization is working with data in partitions: And you can process in chunks when data is already in memory The main idea: Don’t bring data to your application if the database can do the work better. LINQ is powerful, but optimized LINQ is about choosing the right execution strategy. #dotnet #csharp #efcore #linq #backenddevelopment #softwareengineering #performance
