The 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 is just around the corner, and we're proud to see two experts from ING Hubs Poland taking the stage to share their knowledge and perspectives on one of the most talked-about topics in risk management today: Agentic AI. On 8-9 October in Warsaw, risk professionals, modellers, validators and industry leaders will come together to discuss the future of risk modelling, regulatory developments, AI, stress testing and decision models. Among the invited speakers are our colleagues Karen Raczkowski, Product Lead of Model Validation Non-Financial Risk, and Jan Filipecki, Senior Model Validator. What skills will shape the future? 🔎🤖 That was the question at the heart of Her Way conference created by the women’s networks of ING Hubs Poland and ING Poland to inspire development, share experiences and explore the capabilities we need in a rapidly changing world. Across multiple discussions, keynote speeches and practical workshops, several powerful insights emerged: 🔸 Self-awareness is always the starting point. Before we can develop new skills, lead others or navigate change, we need to understand ourselves. Our strengths, motivations and values remain the foundation of meaningful growth. 🔸"I don't know" doesn't mean "I'm not capable". In a world transformed by AI and constant change, none of us can have all the answers. Curiosity, learning agility and the willingness to ask questions are far more valuable than pretending to know everything. 🔸 The ability to stay in discomfort matters. Growth rarely happens in familiar territory. Whether it's taking on a new challenge, changing roles or speaking up, progress often begins where comfort ends. 🔸 Expertise gets you in the room. Power skills help you move forward. Technical knowledge remains important, but communication, collaboration, resilience and empathy is what help us create impact and unlock opportunities. 🔸 Adaptability and resilience are essential today. Allyship starts with four simple actions: listen, respect, respond and support. Simple in theory. Powerful in practice. That's why, together with Think Tank Diversity Hub, we hosted a workshop on inclusive leadership and allyship. Because creating a sense of belonging is not only about policies. It's about the culture we build every day and the choices we make when working with one another. Some of the insights shared during the session were difficult to ignore: 🔸 46% of LGBTQIAP+ people in Poland are concerned about talking about their orientation or identity at work because they fear worse treatment. 🔸 42% have experienced discrimination in the workplace. 🔸 Among those who experienced discrimination, only 4 in 10 reported it to their employer. * Statistics quoted from the Bezpieczne Przystanie report. These numbers remind us that inclusion is not a finished project. It's an ongoing responsibility. But allyship is more than a conversation. It's action. That's why many of our colleagues, together with colleagues from ING Poland, proudly joined the Equality March in Katowice organised by Stowarzyszenie Tęczówka// Tęczówka Association. To show support, to stand in solidarity, to make it clear that respect, openness and belonging are values we put into practice. Check out the gallery and you'll see plenty of colour, energy and celebration. But Pride is also about showing that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and welcome for who they are. Some traditions are measured not in years, but in impact. This year, 172 teams from ING Hubs Poland joined Poland Business Run, taking part virtually between 31 August and 6 September.  What we appreciate most about initiatives like this is that they make corporate responsibility feel very human. It is not about statements or declarations. It is about hundreds of people deciding to contribute their time, energy and kilometres to support others - #ThisIsHubs. And while team names such as Business Crawl, Deadline Runners, Medals Will Be Sent by Email and No Meetings, Just Miles brought plenty of smiles, they also reflected something bigger: people who choose to show up and help.  The scale of engagement proves that this is a tradition worth nurturing.
