Abstract

The present invention relates to a fuel system (10) for a vehicle (8), comprising a detection module (12) arranged to detect a fuel usage parameter (100). The fuel system (10) comprises a monitoring module (14) arranged to monitor the fuel usage parameter over time (104) to determine a fuel usage trend (106). The fuel system (10) comprises a control module (26) arranged to provide a refuelling instruction (108) to a vehicle user based on the fuel usage trend.
