Abstract

Display control apparatus (100) makes display unit (110) display map information including lane marking for lane indication provided on a road. Acquisition unit (101) acquires information on lane regulation on the road. Control unit (102) controls the mode of display for lane marking on the display unit (110) on the basis of the information on lane regulation acquired by the acquisition unit (101). For example, when there is a lane under regulation (hereinafter referred to as “regulated lane”), the control unit (102) causes an icon indicating lane regulation to be displayed on a lane display indicating the regulated lane. Further, the control unit (102), for example, causes the lane display indicating the regulated lane to be displayed with a color different from that of the lane display for nonregulated lanes.
