Abstract

 回路を保護できる可能性を一層向上させた回路保護デバイスを提供する。  バイメタルスイッチ(4)およびPTC素子(2)を有して成る回路保護デバイス(1)において、  バイメタルスイッチとPTC素子とは、電気的に並列に接続され、  PTC素子は、回路保護デバイスを組み込むべき電気回路の定格電圧および定格電流に基づいて式(1): 定格電圧/定格電流=固有抵抗値 (1) によって算出される回路の固有抵抗値の1.1倍以下の動作後抵抗値を有する。
