Abstract

A computer user interface for biological images allows biologists and other biology professionals to organize biological images into 'projects' containing hierarchy levels that separate images based upon relevant biological criteria. In addition, the user interface allows users to select various filters and methods that can be used to (1) manipulate the display of a biological image and/or (2) extract quantitative information from the images.
