'lO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERNz Be itz-known that I, JAMES H. HALL, ofthe city of Maysville, county of Mason, and State ot' Kentucky, have invented a new and useful Wrought-Iron Sliding Plate, by which to regulate and hold fast the Cutter to :t PloughfBeem; and I do hereby declare that the following is a. full and exact description, reference beinr had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference thereon.
The nature of my invention consists of a wrought-iron plate with an upper Harige, a, in frontot the cutter Z), and n lower flange, e, behind thecutter, with mortises d d, to slide the plate forward or backward, ns the cutter may be needed to be moved forward or backward. The plate is attached to the plough-beam by means of the bolts e e, and the cutter held between the anges by the bandf. The plates upon the upper and lower parts of the beam form a. groove in which thevsliding plate moves.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The said wrought-iron sliding plate, with its flanges, lmortises, and adaptation to the purpose of regulating the position of and holding fast the cutter to a plouglbbeam.
