Claims (7)
- 断面U字形又はV字形の溝を形成した複数のクランプ片を備え、それら複数のクランプ片同士を前記溝が内側を向いて環状となるように連結された状態で、互いに結合されるべき複数の被結合体を前記溝内に挟んで結合するクランプ結合具であって、
前記クランプ片同士を連結する連結部は、第1連結部と第2連結部とを備え、
前記第1連結部は、前記複数のクランプ片同士を環状態と環を開いた開状態とに開閉するようにヒンジ連結され、
前記第2連結部は、前記複数のクランプ片同士を連結すると共に、前記環状態とされた複数のクランプ片の全長を調整可能とする構成とされ、
前記第2連結部は、互いに環状に連結されるクランプ片の各端部が平板状に環の外側に向けて屈曲されており、屈曲された平板同士が対向する屈曲部を備え、
該屈曲部は、第1屈曲部及び第2屈曲部を含み、
前記第1屈曲部は締結部を備え、
該締結部は、前記平板同士が対向方向で互いに離間された状態にある前記第1屈曲部において、前記平板同士間の対向間隔を縮小して、前記溝内に挟まれた前記被結合体を締め付け、前記平板を貫通する雄ねじ体、並びに該雄ねじ体に螺合されて前記雄ねじ体との間に前記平板を挟む雌ねじ体を備え、
前記第2屈曲部は、前記第1屈曲部より前記環の外側にあって、前記平板同士を互いに直接又は間接的に当接させる当接部を備え、
該当接部の平板同士間に、当該平板同士間の間隔を変更可能とするシムが挿入可能とされているクランプ結合具。 - 請求項1において、
前記雄ねじ体はボルトより成り、また、雌ねじ体はナットより成り、
該ボルト及びナットの座面とその座面に対向する前記締結部における前記平板の受面は、前記ボルトの軸芯に対して前記平板の板面が傾斜状態となっても面接触を可能とするように曲面にて構成されているクランプ結合具。 - 請求項1又は2において、
前記シムは、前記締結部に向けて厚さが漸減されるクサビ形状とされているクランプ結合具。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれかにおいて、
前記シムは、前記当接部の平板同士間に挟まれている状態から外れるのを抑制するように、前記クランプ片に対して係止する係止部を備えるクランプ結合具。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれかにおいて、
前記クランプ片は、ばね鋼によって形成されているクランプ結合具。 - 請求項1ないし5のいずれかにおいて、
前記被結合体は、ディーゼルエンジンの排ガス浄化用のディーゼル・パティキュレート・フィルタを収容し、ディーゼルエンジンの排ガスを通す筒体のフランジ部であるクランプ結合具。 - 断面U字形又はV字形の溝を形成した複数のクランプ片を備え、それら複数のクランプ片同士を前記溝が内側を向いて環状となるように連結された状態で、互いに結合されるべき複数の被結合体を前記溝内に挟んで結合するクランプ結合具であって、
前記クランプ片同士を連結する連結部は、第1連結部と第2連結部とを備え、
前記第1連結部は、前記複数のクランプ片同士を環状態と環を開いた開状態とに開閉するようにヒンジ連結され、
前記第2連結部は、前記複数のクランプ片同士を連結すると共に、前記環状態とされた複数のクランプ片の全長を調整可能とする構成とされ、
前記第2連結部は、締結部と該締結部より前記環の外側に配置された当接部とを備え、
前記当接部は、前記各クランプ片の端部同士を直接又は間接的に当接させ、前記端部同士の間隔を変更する変更手段を備え、
前記締結部は、前記各クランプ片の端部同士が対向方向で互いに離間された状態にある前記各クランプ片の端部同士の対向間隔を縮小して、前記溝内に挟まれた前記被結合体を締め付け、前記端部同士を貫通する雄ねじ体、並びに該雄ねじ体に螺合されて前記雄ねじ体との間に前記端部を挟む雌ねじ体を備えるクランプ結合具を用い、
複数のクランプ片同士を前記溝が内側を向いて環状となるように連結された状態で、ディーゼルエンジンの排ガス浄化用のディーゼル・パティキュレート・フィルタを収容しディーゼルエンジンの排ガスを通す筒体のフランジ部を前記溝内に挟んで結合するクランプ結合方法であって、
新品のクランプ結合具を使用するときは、前記当接部において前記クランプ片の端部同士間に前記変更手段としてのシムを挟み、
前記ディーゼル・パティキュレート・フィルタの洗浄のためクランプ結合具の結合を一旦外した後、再結合のため同じクランプ結合具を再度使用するときは、前記当接部において前記シムを外して前記クランプ片の端部同士間を直接当接させるクランプ結合方法。
