To my first Students

At the end of 2021, the first students I ever supervised in a thesis project graduated.
As a would-be academic, this is an important milestone, so I dedicated little bits of text to each of them. There is more context to these, of course, but I think these dedications are enjoyable even out of context. Those who are privy to the context (or that will ask me about it) might appreciate them better.
VISION è non avere paura che, se il futuro è un posto a cui dobbiamo arrivare, almeno lasciate che vi ci porti sulla mia auto immaginaria che con il suo motore ad idee corre su nuvole di bit.
Ti auguro un futuro giallissimo.

LEADERSHIP è esplorare uno spazio di incertezza tra il cambiamento che vorremmo e quello che ci tocca. E il tradeoff urgente tra ripagare la macchina e far crescere l'umano.
