Hywind Tampen: 11 foundations, 250 partners, one world-first 🌍 Norway’s Hywind Tampen is more than a wind farm. It's proof that decades of offshore energy experience can turn ambition into reality. As the world's largest floating offshore wind farm, and the first to supply electricity directly to offshore oil and gas platforms, it set a new benchmark for what's possible in offshore renewables. Aker Solutions was proud to work with Equinor to deliver the engineering, procurement and construction of all 11 floating concrete foundations, along with marine operations spanning assembly, towing, installation and project management. But projects of this scale and complexity are never delivered alone. We executed the engineering and construction in partnership with more than 250 suppliers and vendors, and we did it on time - a reminder that advancing the energy transition depends as much on collaboration as it does on engineering excellence. Hywind Tampen has helped industrialise floating wind, generating valuable insights that will support the next generation of large-scale offshore developments. 🔥 The final piece is in place. The flare for Valhall PWP has now been safely delivered from our yard at Sandnessjøen and installed offshore. Positioned at the very top of the platform, the flare plays a critical safety role as a pressure relief system, during start-up and operations. Despite late design changes, the flare was delivered with strong HSSE performance and no carry-over work.💪 With the flare installed, assembly of the platform is complete. Last week our life cycle team spent four days demonstrating drones, robotics, virtual reality, AI and autonomous technologies in Stavanger. The technologies attracted attention, but the conversations reflected how the industry is evolving. The question is no longer whether these solutions work. The question is how to scale them to create real operational value. 🟩How do we perform more work offshore without increasing personnel on board? 🟩How do we reduce routine work and operating costs? 🟩How do we improve HSSE by removing people from hazardous exposure? 🟩And how do we use data and technology to make better and faster decisions? Scaling remote, digital and autonomous solutions into operations requires integrating technology into workflows, combining AI and digital tools with domain expertise, and continuously improving how work gets done. That's where the real opportunity lies. And that's what we work on every day.

From Stord to Øygarden - installation begins for Northern Lights phase 2 🚢 The first shipment of prefabricated modules has arrived at the Northern Lights project site in Øygarden, after setting sail from our Stord yard. This delivery marks the start of installation for our engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) scope, supporting the expansion of the Northern Lights onshore terminal. Once complete, Phase 2 will more than triple CO₂ handling capacity from 1.5 million to at least 5 million tonnes per year. The first four top platforms for the CO2 storage tanks were lifted by crane on and offboard the MS Nyksund vessel, providing a cost-efficient and reliable solution while reducing unnecessary cargo handling. With several more shipments planned over the coming months, it’s exciting to see the project continuing to take shape. A new chapter – and a new CEO!  Today, we announce that Paal Eikeseth has been appointed CEO of Aker Solutions. Paal succeeds Kjetel Digre, who has decided to step down after six years in the role. During his tenure, Aker Solutions has delivered significant growth, strengthened its position across the energy industry, and created solid value for shareholders, customers, and employees alike. As we look ahead, Paal will lead Aker Solutions into the next phase of our development, building on our strong foundation while driving technology, innovation, and transformation as we take on new challenges across existing and emerging markets. Today, our 11,700 colleagues thank Kjetel for his outstanding leadership and contributions over the past six years.  At the same time, we look forward with confidence and excitement to the opportunities ahead under Paal's leadership.
