Voice chat built for low latency.
Moin is a voice and screen sharing app for friends and communities, on desktop and mobile.
A place for your friends to talk. Low-latency voice chat, smooth 60 fps screen sharing in high resolution, and your own community to hang out in.
Low-latency voice
Join a room and start talking. No account, just a name. Your voice goes peer to peer, straight to your friends, so they hear you with almost no delay.
Stream gameplay
at 60 fps.
Watch friends play in a dedicated window without leaving the conversation. No limits, no upgrades, no features locked behind a paywall.
Encrypted, whichever way it goes.
Your voice and your screen go straight to the people in the room, encrypted so only they can hear you and see your screen.
Computer or internet struggling to keep up? Send your screen once to your community’s server, and it passes it on to everyone. It stays encrypted, so the server can’t see it.
Your voice always goes straight to each friend. Only they can hear it. Your screen goes straight to each friend, a copy for each one. Your screen goes to the server just once, and it passes it on. The server can’t see it.
Customize it the way you want.
Pick the look that suits you and make Moin your own. No ads, no clutter, just voice chat and screen sharing.

What is Moin?
Moin is a voice chat and screen sharing app for you and your friends. Open it, pick a name, and you’re talking. No account, no setup.
It’s built to do one thing really well. Your voice goes straight to your friends, so talking feels like being in the same room. Share your game at 60 fps in full resolution, for free, with no subscription.
What if a direct connection isn’t possible?
Some networks, like strict office or school Wi-Fi, block direct connections. Then Moin sends your voice through a relay server, so you stay in the call. It can add a little delay, but your voice stays encrypted: the relay only passes it along and can’t listen in.
How is my call encrypted?
Every device has its own key, made on the device. Your voice and screen travel over a connection encrypted between your device and each person in the room, so only they can decrypt it. Anything that relays your stream along the way only sees encrypted data.
Can people in my room see my IP address?
Yes. Moin is peer to peer: your voice goes straight from your device to each person in the room, with no company server in the middle. That’s why there’s so little delay, but it also means their devices know your IP address.
Is Moin really free?
Yes. The apps, voice chat and screen sharing are free, with no ads or paid boosts, and so is running a server for your own community.
Do I need an account?
No. Choose a nickname and start talking.
What’s the difference between a space and a community?
A space is for right now: open it, invite your friends with a link, and it stays available while you’re in it. A community is more permanent, with multiple rooms where people can come and go.
Can I host my own community?
Yes. You can run a community server yourself for free: read the setup guide.
When can I download Moin?
Moin is available now on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android: get the apps. Screen sharing is available on desktop.
What does Moin collect about me?
The apps don’t collect analytics or personal information.
