Blood Memories

When you are immortal, you learn to say goodbye. People, places, language, culture... it all fades before the onslaught of time. There is only one thing that remains constant: the bond between you and the one who turned you.

Whether you hate them, love them, admire them, pity them, it does not matter. They are a constant throughout the decades and centuries, the one who brought you into this undying existence, the one whose actions changed you forever. They can never really be far from your mind.

Today, though. Today, you cannot find them. Today, they are beyond your reach.

What you know

- You are a vampire, turned by an elder vampire, your Maker.

- You need to drink blood, and you are immortal. Other strengths and weaknesses vary by individual.

- Your Maker has a House, which is vast and mysterious.

- Your Maker has called you to this House, but when you arrived, they did not greet you.

- You suspect foul play.

- There are many people in the House, and many rooms, some of which may even seem to be outside the House.

- You must collect Keys that unlock sections of the House, in order to find your Maker and the reason you were called here.

Blood Memories is an atmospheric exploration game about vampires exploring their Maker's mysterious House in order to find out what happened to them. It can be played by one or two people. During play, you'll generate rooms, encounter challenges, relive your memories of your Maker, and uncover why your Maker has disappeared. 

While Blood Memories is a story-focused game, it uses dice to randomize room and challenge generation, and each vampire has a set of moves connected to their background and relationship to their Maker. It provides just enough random input to introduce tension and unpredictability, but ultimately, you are in charge of your story, and of the memories shared between you and your Maker.
