🌊 Lovely conditions for Day Two.

☕️ Two espressos, and we’re off to the races! Or the waves! Here we go, pro surfer by the end of the week. Let’s also see how many kilos of sand we can shove into this car in a week!

🥰 Full day at the beach, surfing, playing, running around. At pick up time, she asked to stay a little longer. I suggested another beach on the way back, one she loves, with a very nice spot for a light meal.

She agreed. It would take 15 mins to get there. She fell asleep as soon as we started driving, wind in her sweaty, sunblock-covered face. Woke up as soon as I parked at the new beach.

Got out, had an ice cream (the café was closed, it’s Monday). Dove into the ocean. Got out, covered herself with my sarong, and off she went, across the parking lot, to check a French license plate. Of course. She’s into numbers and letters, license plates are awesome. And we have a lot of foreign ones driving around.

Back on the road, she got a cup of sliced fruit from a gas station, and ate the whole thing while she told me every detail of her day. Road trips with her are always fun.

It is simply a collection of photos that I upload daily.

Yeah. But they’re really nice.

🥰 I kept getting recommendations for FreshRSS, when I dropped my longtime Feedbin account. I wanted to test it, but I’m really cutting down on subscriptions very aggressively, firing up an instance with PikaPods is out at this time.

Luckily the FreshRSS site links to a few people offering accounts on established servers. Some have a small donation attached to it, or the really nice pay-what-you-can-afford option. Others are free.

Turns out most of the free ones listed are not accepting new accounts, but there is one that still does! Arguably, the best one, as it has an awesome cherry on top: it’s a French gay server, so I get a rainbow on the FreshRSS logo!

🚌 7:20AM. Literally two of us on the bus, conductor comes in to check tickets. Rare sighting this early in the morning.

🏖️ Here we go. Up at 6AM, time to get the surf trip on the road.

I use “trip” lightly, since we’re coming back home every day.

🏄🏻‍♀️ Surf Camp starts tomorrow for the little one. Guess who’s spending a week at the beach, or close by?
