The Midlife Breakfast Club: A Fireside Chat on (Peri)Menopause & Andropause
Have you ever sat across the breakfast table from your spouse and quietly wondered why neither of you feel quite like yourselves anymore?
You know you still love each other, so it's not about the relationship. It's that you sense something changing in your body, but you don't know how to feel about it, or how to put it into words.
Hormones rarely get talked about at all, let alone in the same room for both men and women, even though peri(menopause) and andropause are often happening in the same household at the same time. This fireside chat brings both sides of that conversation to one table, each of us there for a reason that's personal as well as professional.
At the table:
Alice Au, Founder of Prime Midlife. An EMCC-accredited executive coach who spent 15 years in banking across Singapore and London before her world was rearranged at 40, a redundancy, a health scare and a divorce, all at once. That dismantling became her greatest education and led her to found Prime Midlife, supporting professionals above 40 across Asia Pacific.
Patrick Collins, Director of Prime Midlife. Twenty five years in financial services across US, UK, Europe and Asia, now on a career break of his own and pursuing AI programme with NUS SG and his personal goals. Pat brings the plain honesty of a man in the thick of his own midlife reinvention and open about what that actually looks like.
Joanne Ho, Founder of Menopause Asia. Spent a year not recognising herself before realising she was in perimenopause. Built Menopause Asia so other women wouldn't have to search as long as she did for a doctor willing to take them seriously.
Dr Shazif Othman, Co-founder of iLiv Clinic. A functional and longevity medicine doctor who reversed and bio-hacked his own family history of heart disease. Brings the clinical side of the andropause conversation to the table.
Expect honest, unscripted conversation over a proper breakfast, with plenty of room for your own questions, not a lecture delivered from a stage. We're keeping the group small, just 20 seats, so it actually feels like a conversation you're part of rather than an audience you're sitting in.
Your RM35 covers your seat, a breakfast set (savoury sandwich, sweet pastry and coffee/tea), and two hours with people who've either lived through this themselves or spent their careers helping others through it. Come on your own, or bring the person you've been meaning to have this conversation with.
