Jana Katharina Molle untersucht das gesetzliche und das konzeptionelle Beratungsverständnis im SGB II aus einer beratungstheoretischen Perspektive der Sozialen Arbeit und zeigt Möglichkeiten der Weiterentwicklung für die Beratung von langzeitarbeitslosen Personen auf. Hierbei spielt der Aspekt der ‚Würdigung‘ von Bewältigungsleistungen eine zentrale Rolle. Dieser wird in vorliegenden Konzeptionen zur Beratung der Zielgruppe bisher zu wenig berücksichtigt. Der Vorteil der von der Autorin aufgezeigten Perspektiven der Weiterentwicklung besteht darin, dass sie in das bestehende System integriert werden können. Molle akzentuiert dabei insbesondere Fragen der Beratungsbeziehung, der dialogorientierten Kommunikation, der Verbesserung der Kooperation und der Partizipation.
