Particularly in a vehicle, these requests can trigger real-world actions, whether that’s searching for a destination, making a call, sending a message, or controlling vehicle functions. That’s why going the extra mile is essential for automotive AI safety—accounting not only for generated responses, but also for user intent, context, and function executability. Addressing this core challenge, 42dot developed Gleo Guard. Gleo Guard is a dedicated guardrail module engineered to apply automotive-grade AI safety policies within Gleo AI. Moving past basic keyword filtering, it aims to encompass a broad set of factors—including user intent, in-vehicle context, applicable policies, and the feasibility of executing vehicle functions.
