OFFICE HOURS

You wake up in an empty office tower.

The lights hum.

The air is stale.

The stairwell only goes down.

Office Hours is a solo liminal horror game about exploration, exhaustion, and an office building that becomes more hostile the deeper you descend. Each floor is generated as you move through it, using a standard deck of cards to create rooms, supplies, puzzles, and threats. Time and movement are limited. Staying too long is dangerous. Moving too fast is worse.

Some floors are quiet.

Some are wrong.

Some are waiting for you.

Furniture piles itself into corners. Vending machines stock things that are not food. Shadows linger where they shouldn’t. Something slides through the corridors every few floors, watching, smiling, and learning how you move.

There are no riddles.

There is no GM.

The building decides.

Progress is earned through careful exploration, managing dwindling resources, and surviving long enough to reach the stairwell. Failure doesn’t reset the tower—only you.
