A workplace is a physical or remote environment where people perform work. Workplaces can include business offices, home offices, warehouses, factories and other spaces designed around specific types of work.
Within an office workplace, common spaces can include waiting rooms, reception areas, open offices, private management and executive offices, shared offices, break rooms, meeting rooms and conference rooms. These spaces are typically furnished and equipped according to the activities and job duties performed within them.
