“Getting the click on the message is half the battle won.” At Operator Circle Jaipur, Akansha Yadav, Director, Enterprise Partnerships at Razorpay, explained why brands need to optimize the entire journey after the click. Using a personal shopping example, she showed how a timely offer can create intent, only for checkout friction to lose it. Can the customer pay within WhatsApp? Is their coupon still applied? Is their preferred payment method shown first? Her takeaway: brands that do this well “do not treat messaging just like a messaging campaign.
