Intermittent rain continued across Uttarakhand's Chamoli district, while higher-altitude regions including Badrinath Dham, Hemkund Sahib, and the Niti Valley witnessed fresh snowfall. The weather change has led to a noticeable drop in temperatures, increasing the chill in the mountainous areas. Despite the cold and wet conditions, pilgrims from across India and abroad continued to visit the revered shrines with enthusiasm. Following the weather department's forecast, district authorities remain on alert and are closely monitoring the situation. While some districts have declared school holidays due to heavy rain warnings, schools in Chamoli are functioning normally and the overall situation remains under control. #Uttrakhand #Chamoli 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in Bhajan clubbing, a modern trend where youngsters gather in concert-like settings to sing, clap and dance to Hindu devotional songs. PM Modi attended the event on the 110th birthday anniversary of Sangh Parivar ideologue Deendayal Upadhyay at a park opposite the BJP headquarters here. Seated on front row, PM Modi was seen clapping and playing a tambourine-like instrument to a Bhajan dedicated to Lord Ram. Donald Trump told the UN that the US will now call artificial intelligence "super intelligence", because "artificial" makes it sound fake. The trouble is, in AI research, superintelligence refers to a hypothetical future AI that outperforms humans at almost every intellectual task. It isn't merely the chatbot on your phone. It's the thing experts are worried about. And, funnily, around the same time, Britain's Alan Turing Institute warned that such systems could emerge within five years, and that humans could lose control of them. This week, Xi Jinping also walked into the White House to ask that AI remain under human control, while Trump said the DOJ was a guardrail enough. The summit also brought forth a two-month trade truce. Closer to home, Microsoft India's Puneet Chandok says AI could let a kid in Patna build what once required a whole company, effectively reshaping the idea of an ‘entrepreneur’.
