Asymmetric investment opportunity trackers. An AI-powered family office platform. A hedge fund operating platform. OSINT workflows. A real estate management platform. A mountain biking training and nutrition system powered by my Strava data. These are not demos or experiments. They are tools I actually use every day. Some are highly personal. Others may have potential for a much broader audience. The bigger takeaway: building software has fundamentally changed. The bottleneck is no longer just product development. Going forward, the real moat will be DDT: distribution, data, and trust. Exciting times.

Got up, cooked two different chicken dishes in our outdoor kitchen for Shabbat while a number of fighter jets took off over our heads on the way to Iran. Cleaned the windows of our house while listening to my favorite Greek radio station Laikos Fm. Continued to vibe code my personal seamless CRM, updated my personal quant and family office solution. Continued to build my personal intelligence CLI dashboard integrating finance and OSINT. Running MacOs, Linux and Windows one 3 computers in parallel. Claude code, Codex and Antigravity. Ordered a snuggle goof costume for my youngest daughter. Heading out for stock some local wine. Just a normal Friday in Israel.

Net Jacobsson shared thisI'm writing this from a bomb shelter in Israel. Five kids. Shelter runs that have become muscle memory. The sound of interceptors overhead is just background now. You hear the siren, you move. No hesitation. In between those runs , sitting in a concrete room with your kids — you stop asking what the news says. You start asking what's actually happening. Right now. Before anyone explains it. When the US and Israel struck Iranian nuclear facilities and Iran retaliated across the Gulf and into Israeli territory, markets felt it before most people saw it. Oil spiked. Defense stocks ran. Gulf exchanges halted. The traders watching the right feeds made money. The ones waiting for headlines were already late. The old model was simple: something happens, the news covers it, markets react. What's running now is different. Raw signals surface first. Personal dashboards pick them up. Prediction markets price them. The public narrative comes last. By the time something becomes a headline it's already been matched to a Polymarket or Kalshi contract and partially priced in. This conflict became a live stress test for a new generation of personal intelligence tools. worldmonitor.app, iranmonitor.org, pizzint.watch/polyglobe, glint.trade, usvsiran.com, none built by institutions, none required serious budgets, most came together in weeks by solo developers who knew exactly what they needed to see. The barrier dropped from "hire a team of engineers" to "be clear about what you need." I built my own setup for the same reason. Sitting in a shelter with five kids I needed earlier awareness, not better summaries. Telegram monitoring across regions. A Middle East escalation dashboard. Threat tracking for Jewish communities globally. The same feed piping into trading decisions and prediction market positioning. Described the system, iterated, it exists. Used to take a team and months. Took weeks. When software was hard, the moat was engineering. When distribution was hard, the moat was audience. Now both are accessible to individuals — the moat is data and earned trust. A clone of any of these tools exists in 48 hours. What can't be cloned is a source network proven accurate under real pressure. The edge isn't speed. It's knowing what to ignore. Every serious trader and operator is going to have a personal intelligence layer. Software became personal. Intelligence is becoming personal. Data and trust are the new moat. Another siren just went off. Kids are safe. Back to watching the signals.

The Morning Engine runs automatically every weekday at 8:00 AM via cron on my Mac: • Fresh data pull • Regime classification • Narrative synthesis • CANSLIM signal gating Today’s snapshot: Market Regime: DISTRIBUTION SPX ~6,880–6,920, still below the 50-day MA SPX Breadth (50d): 53.8% — above crash risk, far from bull strength NDX Breadth (50d): 34.9% — clear tech participation breakdown VIX ~19.6–20 — no panic, but institutions selling into strength For my day trading, this macro layer is mostly background noise but I take it into consideration. For swing, position, and CANSLIM-style exposure — this is the gatekeeper. Current playbook: • No new entries • Trim tech into strength • Ride winners with tight stops • SPX breadth <45% → shift heavily to cash Still early. The system evolves almost daily as I run it live. Bob is also joining us as a board observer. At CI, we are building a universal foundation model of cell signaling to understand, predict and ultimately control how cells behave, with applications in regenerative medicine, cancer, aging, and drug discovery. What matters most to me about Yann, Bob, Jens and Fabian joining is the scientific judgment they bring: which questions to pursue, what evidence would change our minds, and how to turn what we learn into medicines. Some background: Imagine if there was a technology that could solve our critical need for energy efficiency, help adapt our world to rising temperatures and help ease the energy needs of our growing digital infrastructure all at once…at scale. That is what Blue Frontier, Inc. does: It hyper-efficiently generates cooling without any of the very harmful refrigerants; it helps adapt our world to the accelerating need for air conditioning - not just to keep us comfortable but to keep us alive - all while storing and load shifting peak energy loads, unlocking energy access from our strained grids to support growing needs from AI. All from the same unit, already deployed across hospitals, schools, hotels and offices across the US. It sounded too good to be true when I first led our investment into Blue Frontier in 2022, but since then I have seen Daniel and team scale that promise into a reality, and the need for Blue Frontier to scale has never been greater. My excitement for the technology and my passionate belief in its potential has also never been greater. I have also come to realize that sharing decades of experience scaling emerging technologies as an operator and then as an investor has been of value to Daniel, and team and this is what led me to decide to take a more dedicated and focused role as Executive Chairman with the company. This also means that I will be stepping down from my role as co-founder and Partner of 2150. Almost seven years after we started incubating the firm we have achieved so much more than I would ever have dreamed. Over half a billion of Euros in Assets under Management. Over thirty portfolio companies who employ thousands, generate over €1 billion in aggregate revenue, and just as importantly, already mitigate over a megattone of CO2 emissions per year. And their impact, both financial and societal, is just beginning. I am thankful to Mikkel, Jacob and Christian for launching this crazy venture with me many years ago, and know that the firm remains in great hands with Jacob, CJ and Rahul at the helm and an amazing team alongside them. People who spent the year on opposite sides of a term sheet end up on the same couch. Founders talk to each other, not just to us. It gets quieter, then louder, then quieter again, and somehow more honest. I don't have a tidy takeaway from the evening. Mostly I just wanted a night where the people who shaped this year for us, founders, CISOs, friends, were in a room that felt like mine rather than a company's.
