Scopely and Pokémon Go has partnered with the European Space Agency - ESA for a space-themed event across Europe from October 4th 2026 to April 30th 2027. Trainers visiting six participating museums will be able to encounter Astronaut Pikachu and access event-themed gameplay. The locations include the Science Museum in London, Cité de l’espace in Toulouse, Deutsches Museum in Nuremberg, Museu de les Ciències in València, Space Expo in Noordwijk and Euro Space Centre in Transinne. Astronaut Pikachu will appear in one-star raids at the participating museums, with successful in-person players able to catch it with a special Location Background. These are two things millions of them are already doing, and now each one is giving back to the planet, with a personalized certificate to prove it. Players don't have to do anything differently. The game stays the same, and now real impact is possible by playing 🚀 That's the part we're most proud of. When impact is built right into the mechanic, players don't have to choose between playing and doing something good, and it all happens in the same experience. Maggy Katz 퍼옴Maggy Katz 퍼옴MEET AN UNKNOWN ISRAELI HERO His name is Yonatan. He served as a high ranking commander in the IDF armored corps. Yonatan was seriously injured while fighting Hamas terrorists in Gaza. He lost his right arm. It took time but yesterday he got his prosthetic arm. Yonatan wanted to test if he could really use it like an arm and hand. So he went to check if he could do one of his favorite activities. (-: WATCH to see Yonatan open and empty a ketchup packet so he could enjoy his fries with ketchup… May God bless Yonatan with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and many portions of fries with ketchup!

Every year, teams across the globe step away from their screens to celebrate Scopely Play Day - a day dedicated to connection and having fun together. This year, our team in Israel took on our own version of The Amazing Race, and it was phenomenal! Days like these remind me that we've built more than a team - we've built a community. I couldn't feel luckier to be part of it or prouder of this incredible team. A huge thank you to Challenge Group bringing my vision to life and helping turn a dream into reality and to Moses Pini Siluk for seeing the moments most people miss and capturing the heart of the day through his lens. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really excited about what’s next, but leaving Apple and especially the Team I’ve worked with is harder than I expected. Over the last two years I’ve had the chance to work with one of the most talented people, some of the biggest and most ambitious companies in gaming, and simply wanted to say THANK YOU all for what I’ve learned from you along the way. Sad to close this chapter, but very excited to start the next one! More on that very soon 🚀
