Ahuvah B. reposted thisExciting news! After months of listening, building, and testing, Govio is coming out of stealth. We're building the rails for businesses to sell to government. The U.S. government is the largest buyer in the world, spending over $2.3T a year on goods and services across federal, state, local, and education agencies. But figuring out how to sell into it, and win, is one of the most complex, compliance-heavy workflows in business. We're here to change that. I'm so grateful to our world-class team of experts and operators, and to the businesses who have been part of this journey. Want early access? Send me a message or drop a comment below.Ahuvah B. reposted thisBig news. With a new government contracting season starting October 1st, Govio is coming out of stealth. 🚪 Many of you already know that the U.S. government is among the world’s largest buyers. In fact, America's public sector spends more than $2.3T a year across federal, state, local, and education agencies on everything from software to shoes. That’s nearly 3x Amazon’s global marketplace. But selling to government isn’t easy. You can start selling on Amazon in days. Getting through government’s front door can take a business 6 to 12 months. And the risks are often hard to see. We’re building Govio to change that. Input your website and within seconds, Govio shows you which agencies buy what you sell, matches you to live opportunities, and gives you the tools to pursue them including who you should talk to, what to say, and how to compete. No more decoding a 77-page solicitation for a routine office furniture order or guessing what to do next. Anyone can build an AI search tool. Knowing the rules, codes, certifications, compliance requirements, and workflows that determine who should bid, and turn an opportunity into an award, takes decades. That’s our edge. Our team includes experts in government contracting, small business policy, data science, and AI, including former White House appointees who ran contracting and technical programs at the U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S. Department of Transportation. The government market is changing fast. The FAR is being overhauled while agencies adapt to changing budgets, requirements, and directives to prioritize modernization, AI, commercial innovation, domestic sourcing, and supply chain resilience. To do that, they need new suppliers. That might mean you. If you run a business or startup, there’s a good chance the government needs what you sell. Early access is open now. Link in the comments. More coming soon. Huge thanks to our team of brilliant experts and operators who have been part of Govio’s journey and made building this platform possible including Aditi Dussault, Liying Iris Wang, Brad Belzak, Ilan Benborhoum, and Daniela Hirsch. Government is buying. Govio opens the door. #GovTech #GovCon #SmallBusiness

Ahuvah B. reposted thisAhuvah B. reposted thisA signed copy of 92 Reasons: A Journey of Faith arrived this week. On September 11, 2001, Sophia Thomas was eighteen years old and six and a half months pregnant. She was on the 92nd floor of Two World Trade Center. She got out. Twenty-five years later, Dr. Sophia Thomas, Ph.D, LPC-S, CRC, CCTP, has written the full account. The book covers the road that led her to that building, and the faith, the people, the choices and the moments of grace that carried her through it. I have known the outline of this story for a while. Reading her name in her own handwriting on the first page, I had to put the book down for a minute. Today Sophia is a counselor, coach and speaker based in Frisco, Texas. I am helping her as a friend, for one reason: more people should hear this from her, in person, in her own words. So here is a direct ask. If you book speakers for a conference, a company gathering, a university or a community organization, and you are planning Q4 or 2027, send me a message and I will introduce you. If you have an idea I have not thought of, I want to hear that too. More about Sophia and the book: https://www.92reasons.com/

Ahuvah B. reacted on thisAhuvah B. reacted on thisStreaming fraud isn’t just stealing streams. It can turn the music industry into a financial rail for bad actors. On the Andrew Southworth podcast, Beatdapp Co-Founder & Co-CEO Andrew Batey broke down how the economics can work. Fraudsters don’t necessarily need real artists, real fans, or even meaningful audiences. They can create entities across multiple jurisdictions, upload content, pay streaming farms to manufacture consumption, and direct the resulting payouts toward different beneficial owners around the world. The money enters as fraudulent activity. It can leave looking like legitimate music revenue. And in between, value is siphoned out of an ecosystem that is supposed to reward real artists and rightsholders. That’s why streaming fraud can’t be treated as a “fake streams” problem anymore. It’s a trust and financial integrity problem. The industry needs stronger infrastructure across the entire pipeline: understanding who is behind accounts and entities, detecting coordinated manipulation, tracing suspicious networks, and stopping illegitimate payouts before they leave the system. Because when identity, activity, and payouts aren’t connected, bad actors will exploit the gaps between them. The music industry has spent years building systems to move money efficiently. Now we need to make sure we know who that money is actually going to. Catch the full discussion here: https://lnkd.in/ggpjMGZW

Ahuvah B. reacted on thisAhuvah B. reacted on thisLoved this part of our webinar in Brazil about how artists in the funk scene are making DIY culture work for them. Matheus Sousa talked about artists licensing their voices to thousands of producers and how that’s pushing the industry to adapt, with more education on permissions, contracts, and ensuring everyone gets paid. MC GW is a great example, with crazy streaming numbers on Spotify. He shares his acapellas for producers to use, with his own team handling clearance and a share of the royalties coming back to him. Vocal sample packs aren’t new. What’s fascinating is the scale, and how some artists have turned something already part of the scene into a business they manage themselves directly. There are challenges too, from documenting permissions to dealing with UGC claims when the same vocal appears on thousands of tracks. But the scene is making these models work, and the industry is having to catch up. Full webinar: https://lnkd.in/eAmDMfFE

Turns out that obsessing over ideas, challenging each other, changing things at the last minute because “wait… what if we tried THIS?”, and generally refusing to leave well enough alone has its perks. Innovation is messy. It’s fast. It’s occasionally slightly insane. And it takes a team of ridiculously talented, curious people who are never quite satisfied with good enough. So this one is for the Loops crew. 💥 Best of the Year. We’ll enjoy it for approximately 5 minutes. Then back to making the next thing. 🚀🎶 Yona Segev Dave Malacrida Anouk P. Yesterday, an Israeli company named Wix ran not one but two ads during the Super Bowl. If you didn't notice, let me tell you about it because they're literally handing you superpowers. The ads showed people building websites and apps just by describing what they want. No code. No developers. No barriers. Here's what that actually means: The pizza shop owner who got quoted $50,000 by developers can now compete with Domino's for $20 a month. The sixteen-year-old with a game idea she's been sketching for months can actually build it. The nonprofit that needs volunteer coordination software can launch tomorrow instead of waiting six months and spending six figures. One commercial showed Wix Harmony, where you meet an AI agent named Aria. You're a photographer and you need a portfolio site. You type: "I need a portfolio site, dark theme, minimal design, gallery pages organized by project, contact form, and booking system." Aria builds it right in front of you. Then you adjust whatever you want. The AI gives you speed, you give it soul. The second commercial showed Base44 (which Wix acquired). People creating apps at their desks. Budgeting tracker. Inventory system. Book platform. One built entirely in Spanish. No developers involved. In 1902, Theodor Herzl wrote "Im tirtzu, ein zo agada" if you will it, it is no dream. He was talking about willing a Jewish state into existence when the world said it was impossible. Yesterday, Wix showed 125 million people the same philosophy applied to creation. You want a website? Will it into being. You want an app? Describe it and it exists. That's what Israel does. Sees barriers. Removes them. Gives the world tools to build whatever they dream. Yesterday, at the very first meetup of the Tel Aviv branch of AI Salon Tel Aviv throughout all lectures, two main observations kept repeating: 1. AI does not make us not relevant, it simply changes our scope, and for the better, as in most cases from executers and doers we become now thinkers.... so a copywriter is now able to leap forward into a copy editor, a designer executer moves into being now a UX/UI strategist, and so on. For me personally, as a marketer, it frees my time to do actual creative thinking, which I barely had time to before the insane amount of tools on my hands... so next time someone says AI makes us dummies, here is the other side of the story..... 2. How to properly adopt AI tools in your team/company is still a chanllenge espeicailly as the company grows, and for 100 plus employees, it is a challenge: How do you make the pivot, what would AI tools implementation look like? And how to overcome the legality issues, as far as security walls? I feel this is what companies are now struggling the most with, they know AI tooling is a must throughout all departments, but scratching their heads on how to onboard the tools and the people....... Here is to more huddels like this! Ezequiel Sznaider
