    Our founder, Angela Wilson, spoke Belfast Tech Week 2026 , with the support of MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy. Her talk was called “Stop using AI for marketing… until you can answer these three questions.” We’ll share more on that soon. Today, we want to celebrate the people in the room. Angela was in wonderful company with Máirín Murray, Shelley Cowan, Victoria Finlay, Donna McCullough, and Varshitha Manjunath. The talks were inspiring, and so were the conversations that followed. Being part of the TechFoundHer community has been fantastic. At Silver Apples Digital Ltd., we spend a lot of time helping businesses connect with people online. Days like this remind us how much it matters to get out, meet people face to face and be part of a community that supports one another.     Every time I go to one of these events, I leave thinking: Fuck yeah. I want to build stuff. Yesterday I went to TechFoundHer event at The Guinness Enterprise Centre and it gave me exactly the kind of energy I'd been missing. Máirín is doing something pretty magical for women in tech and beyond. And Kelly is a force of nature – the kind of person who makes you want to stop overthinking and go build the bloody thing. I met so many women at completely different stages of building businesses, products, ideas. And weirdly, I loved the networking. Usually, I hate it. But maybe I hate the boring kind. Yesterday was different. I connected with so many people, had interesting conversations, came away with new ideas, had some of my thinking challenged, and met a bunch of women I actually want to speak to again. Also, it reminded me: I am happiest when I’m building. Sometimes I don’t even realise how many things I’m building at once: My coaching business. A leadership programme for new leaders. AI systems to help me run the business. Capacity OS – your operating system for energy, focus and stress. They look like different things, but I think the common thread is actually pretty simple. I’m a builder. I like taking something that doesn’t exist yet, figuring it out, testing, changing it, making it real. I think the next part for me is getting just as good at making money from the things I build. That’s probably a useful thing to admit publicly. And if you’re a woman building something – or quietly thinking you might want to – have a look at the WeBuild programme. There are some seriously good people in that room. And a big thank you to Máirín and the team for putting together such a brilliant event and creating the kind of room people actually want to be in. Miren. M S.     A huge congratulations to Pauline Timoney on the official launch of RoutineRoo . 🦘🚀 Pauline has been part of the TechFoundHer community in so many ways — as an Innovation Labs alumna, a member of our WeBuild faculty, a founder, mentor and an ongoing champion for other women building in tech. So today’s launch feels particularly special. We’ve seen first-hand the commitment behind RoutineRoo: the research, prototyping, testing, co-design with families and specialists, the iteration, the prize wins along the way, and the persistence required to keep building when the journey is anything but linear. That consistency matters. It’s also fitting that RoutineRoo itself is built around the power of consistency and routine — helping families make some of the most challenging everyday moments easier, from school mornings and bedtime to transitions and big feelings. As parents ourselves, we know it's often not the big moments that are challenging. It's the everyday moments. The bedtime battles. The morning rush. The struggle to get out the door for school. So we built the first version of RoutineRoo to help families navigate some of these daily challenges through simple, engaging routines designed to support children's growing independence while making life a little less stressful for parents.     We’re proud to spotlight **TechFoundHer** at TEDxWoodLaneWomen at White City house, a community with a simple but powerful mission: to see more women creating technology, building companies and leading the solutions our world needs. The world is not short of problems. What it is short of is enough women being backed to build the answers. TechFoundHer exists to help change that. It is a community for women with bold ambition, big ideas and a desire to solve meaningful problems through technology. And you do not need to be a coder, a technologist or already think of yourself as a founder to begin. If you have an idea, a problem you want to solve or something you believe should exist, TechFoundHer creates a place to start.
