  • Search for extended regex (supporting ?, +, {}, () and |) in a compressed file (case-sensitive):

zegrep "{{search_pattern}}" {{path/to/file}}

  • Search for extended regex (supporting ?, +, {}, () and |) in a compressed file (case-insensitive):

zegrep {{[-i|--ignore-case]}} "{{search_pattern}}" {{path/to/file}}

  • Search for lines that do not match a pattern:
