Install gitlab-shell outside homedir

Hey guys.

Is it possible to install gitlab-shell outside of /home/git folder? I have all my files in /opt. I noticed that in gitlab configuration you can specify path to gitlab-shell. Even that I specified it, if I try fetch code from gitlab (over ssh), I receive message that gitlab-shell could not be found in /home/git/gitlab-shell/bin/gitlab-shell. Any ideas?
