Error on images of documents in the database with latest trunk

On a test installation with latest trunk all images of doucuments already uploaded to the database fail with GET /api/v0/documents/documents/36/image/?size=160x120&rotation=0&version=37&page=1&zoom=100 HTTP/1.1" 500 21182

New documents work correctly.

Deleting the image cache doesn't help.

Turn on debug logger for the documents and rest_api apps to see if something shows up in the console messages.

Delete all .pyc files just to make sure python is not executing some old code.

I ran into: "Also move to the media folder any gpg_home, document_storage and image_cache folders from your previous installation."
