[Feature Request] Dark Mode Support #81

Closed

Description

@Xeno1177

A dark mode skin would be greatly appreciated. It can help significantly with eye strain and, being visually impaired, can be an accessibility feature for some. Clear contrast between fonts and backgrounds is also essential. Viewing the theme in black and white is a good way to ensure good contrast. As an example, red text on black background is invisible.

Thanks for the awesome tool!

    Would just like to add a bump for this - I use a toolkit called Rectify11 which, among other things, renders dark mode on programs using legacy Windows components, which NomNom apparently is one of - and it's one of the ones designed in a way that 7438 the compatibility mode is triggered which simply renders the application using the high contrast schema. A true dark mode would fix this.

    One: there is "View" then "Settings" and you can't set the theme to "Dark"; is that not the same?

    If not; try VectorCMDR's NMSE [ https://github.com/vectorcmdr/NMSE ]; like this editor; more up to date - with a "System", "Light", or "Dark" options for it/s look/theme.

    there is no view option

    i dont think there is a dark mode, as this wouldnt be a pinned issue added to milestones if it already had darkmode

    I want to apologize; I realize now my mistake. When I posted - I some how thought this was a post about the NMS Save Editor by GoatFungus ><

    So, yeah, NomNom doesn't have a dark mode yet.

    But, seeing as this got pinned 3 years ago; may be better to mention it in the Dsicord for NomNom to try and bring attention to it again.
