What happened?
Whenever I try to export a starship, there is a 90% chance the program just crashes. Below I have included relevant data to the crash. Also worth noting is that trying to export ships occasionally renders my installation of NomNom unable to open saves, and forces me to reinstall the game. I can and will offer any other information I can if necessary.

How to reproduce?
Export basically any ship- it's not every ship, and I am uncertain exactly what the common denominator between the ships that crash are. Included is a ship I edited with a save editor, and a custom ship I retrieved from the last expedition, to name a few. Switching the type of backup has helped in some cases, but not all.
Did you find any workarounds?
