I set up a MiniO server locally and tested the upload of 16MB files by flutter web app.
It took 22 seconds. Since there is no network bottleneck to limit the speed,
such a slow speed is a problem.

I tried uploading a ~40MB file in a Fluttter web app to a remote server, in my case it takes only a few second and the speed can reach up to ~10MB/s.
Could you provide an example that can reproduce the problem? So that I can make further investigation on that.

@xtyxtyx Can you share the web example for upload?

Two things help, and both are in the fork (0.2.0):
putObjecttakesmaxParallelUploads, which uploads the parts of amultipart upload concurrently instead of one after the other.
onProgressshows how much has been transferred, so it is visible whetherthe bottleneck is the network or the app.
For a 16 MB file on a local server, the parallel upload is the difference
between one round trip per part and several at once.

This ships in zuraffa_minio — the maintained fork of this package, which upstream has not touched since August 2025.
The fork keeps the API of the original package unchanged, so moving over is an import swap:
