[Feature] Get upload url instead of etag? #12

Open

Description

@stargazing-dino

Although I can construct the url myself given the bucket and file location, I think it'd be nice if minio.putObject/minio.fPutObject would return an object with the url of the upload locatio 8E3A n and the etag as fields instead of just the etag

Thanks for your work on the library. Let me know if it'd be an easy PR and I could do it myself

    @arrrrny

    Implemented in the fork as objectUrl, which returns the plain, unsigned URL
    of an object:

    final url = await minio.objectUrl('bucket', 'object');

    putObject still returns the etag, as before — the URL is not a credential
    and does not grant access on its own; it is only useful for a public bucket
    or behind a public CDN. For a time limited link use presignedUrl.

    This ships in zuraffa_minio — the maintained fork of this package, which upstream has not touched since August 2025.

    The fork keeps the API of the original package unchanged, so moving over is an import swap:

    // before
    import 'package:minio/minio.dart';
    // after
    import 'package:zuraffa_minio/minio.dart';
