Is this repository dead? No updates for 13 months...

I moved to aws_client...

Upstream is, for practical purposes: the last release was 3.5.8 and the open
issue queue grew to 36 without a maintainer answering most of them.

The package continues as zuraffa_minio — a maintained fork with the same
API, so switching is an import swap:

import 'package:zuraffa_minio/minio.dart';

What the fork adds: xml 7 and current dependency pins, a hermetic test
suite that runs against a real MinIO server in CI, and every open issue
triaged (the fixes land in 0.2.0, the answers are in the comments below).

On your move to aws_client: zuraffa_minio is the lighter option — pure
Dart, no code generation, and it runs on the web as well as on IO. Temporary
credentials are supported through sessionToken, and a credentials provider
callback was added so STS credentials can be renewed mid-upload.

This ships in zuraffa_minio — the maintained fork of this package, which upstream has not touched since August 2025.

The fork keeps the API of the original package unchanged, so moving over is an import swap:
