Feature suggestion: WebRTC-based P2P connection between instances #156

Description

@Mabbs

Hi! First off, this project is amazing. Huge thanks for maintaining it!

I had a small idea I wanted to float: right now each instance connects outward on its own, but would it make sense to let two (or more) separate running instances connect to each other directly? For example, if I open the linux in two browser tabs, they could talk to and reach each other without going through any intermediary server.

A few fun use cases:

  • Let two people connect their instances live for a demo or pair debugging
  • Reach a service running in one instance straight from the other, as if they were on the same network
  • Fully peer-to-peer, so no extra server is needed to make it work

For what it's worth, I prototyped something along these lines in my own project using WebRTC — a simple direct-connection bridge between two browser instances: https://github.com/Mabbs/linux/blob/main/webrtc-p2p.js

It's just a proof of concept and obviously tailored to a different setup, but I thought it might be a useful reference if this kind of feature ever lands here. Totally understand if it's out of scope for now — just wanted to share the idea. Thanks again for all the great work!
