This product depends on github.com/superfly/ltx (Copyright Fly.io, Inc.,

licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0), which defines the LTX

transaction-segment format offshoot uses for durable storage. See go.mod for

the full set of third-party dependencies and their respective licenses.

offshoot's WAL capture engine (internal/capture) uses a technique publicly

described by Litestream (github.com/benbjohnson/litestream, Apache License,

Version 2.0) — holding a long-running read transaction on a dedicated SQLite

connection to prevent foreign checkpoints from restarting the WAL out from

under an in-progress capture. offshoot's implementation was independently

written against the public SQLite WAL file format and Litestream's

published description of that approach; no Litestream source code was

copied, vendored, or adapted into this repository. See the "WAL capture

and the connection contract" section of docs/architecture.md for the

implementation record.
