[Customer Issue] Menu page is loading very slowly #2
The restaurants page is taking forever to load. It used to be instant but now it takes 10-15 seconds.\n\nI'm on a good internet connection so I don't think it's on my end. Is there something wrong with the server?
Analysis:
The user reports the restaurants page (/api/restaurants) degraded from near-instant to 10-15 second load times. This is a significant regression that impacts user experience. Possible causes include increased database query latency, missing pagination, resource contention on the container, or a recent code change affecting the restaurants endpoint.
Next Steps:
Check backend response times for the /api/restaurants endpoint in application metrics.
Review RestaurantsController.cs for any recent changes that could cause slow queries or missing caching.
Monitor container CPU/memory metrics to rule out resource saturation.
Investigate whether the dataset has grown significantly (e.g., large number of restaurants being returned without pagination).
