Dexed is crashing when automating control changes in Studio One #425

I am on a Mac Mini M2, everything seems to work fine with just sequencing but not sure.

First I lost all my controller mappings in Dexed and it crashed
Then it would only let me select certain knobs even though it allowed my prior to use ones that were no longer being recognized
When I let it play midi for a like 10 minutes it would randomly crashes

There are known issues with VST3 automation with 0.9.6. Please confirm if the issue is still present with the pre-release version.

I was able to get this installed but the automation does not work at all at this point. At least not in Studio.
