vivarium: checks.memory fails on the container backend #1188
Description
checks.memory.container fails at assert filled - booted > GREW_KIB: "the host did not start paying for that cache, so there is nothing for the rest of this test to give back".
- It fails in the sandbox and by hand (
nix run --file . checks.memory.container.driver -- --out ...). - It fails on main before afabb59 (the container cgroup split) and after it, with the same message. So that change did not cause it.
- Not yet known: whether the container's memory figure (
own_cgroup_memory_kib, ortree_pss_kibwithout a scope) misses the guest's page cache, or whether the test expects something only a booted kernel gives.
