Hi, I want to understand the line

gptp/common/common_port.cpp

Line 635 in d5ddcc0

if( asCapable )
. If gPtp is run without automotive profile, then because of this condition SYNC message is not generated. Shouldn't the asCapable need to be set true for non automotive profile as well?

setAsCapable( true );

As per the document https://avnu.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Automotive-Ethernet-AVB-Func-Interop-Spec-v1.5-Public.pdf, " transmit gPTP timing information shall set the value of asCapable to TRUE for these ports when the link is up"
